Tireless shaping and forming – for more than 60 years.
In 1948 Dr. Günther Kaupert began manufacturing the first chocolate moulds from metal. He was inspired when company founder Alfred Bodderas from Lüdenscheid told him about an unpaid tooling for a chocolate manufacturer. The Erndtebrück Operation had been founded during the last war for fear of the Allied bombardments, in order to protect machines and production. In 1958, Erndtebrück became an independent operation.

In order for following generations to find a job and an intact environment, all our team members are being bound into our environmentally friendly projects. Together with our customers and suppliers alike, we are constantly optimising our logistics.
Energy-efficient working
With the help of process optimisation, our energy consumption is constantly being reduced in all our 3 factory sites - in 2011 alone, we managed to reduce the consumption of the Injection-Moulding which is one of our highest energy consumers by more than 20%. Bought-in raw materials are being handled and processed efficiently; the inevitable production waste is returned back into the raw material cycle with help of recycling partners. The Schameder site has been equipped with a modern heat recovery facility that will now cover 80% of the heating requirements. In 2010, we have pledged and confirmed in the cadastral land register that some 3,000m² of our company grounds will not be built upon since a renaturing procedure prior had brought about a natural river meadow landscape with a rare fauna and flora. In 2020 our plant in Marburg was certified according to ISO 50001.

Since 1958, Kaupert has been one of the leading companies for thermoformed packaging for food and non-food industries alike. A 3D CAD development department enables us to realise specific customer requests quickly and accurately. Our in-house tooling department as well as years of experience in production warrant for highest levels of quality and according to contemporary state of technology.
Already during the development of the plastic parts, our engineers and technologists will take care of all relevant performance features. We pride ourselves in the fact that we have been producing plastic cases, technical injection-moulded, blow-moulded and thermoformed plastic parts for well-known customers in the electro and electronic appliances domaine.
